50 Years service as lay preacher in the Northern Suburbs

Don Baker's 50 years of faithful service to the church through his lay preaching ministry was honoured at JUC during the 10am worship service on Sunday 31 July 2011.

Don was presented with his certificate of service by the Rev Anna Gilkison and the Parish Chair, Neil Simpson. In keeping with the occasion Don preached on the Gospel reading of Luke 10 verses 25 - 37 where Jesus meets a Judean Teacher and asks "who is our neighbour?"
