Activities

Family Groups:

The church has three groups based on the Passionist Family Group movement, which act as a pastoral support network for people of all backgrounds and ages. These also have regular social gatherings about once a month to maintain contact and fellowship. The three groups are The Young and the Rest of Us, The Mixers and No Names.

Youth Activities:

The church currently has two youth groups, which aim to provide a social and spiritual focus for young people in the parish community:

YACHTS:

Terrace Centre in Johnsonville on Sunday nights from 6 til 8:30 PM. 

Girls Brigade:

The Terrace Centre is the base for the 19th Wellington Girls Brigade company, which meets there on Thursday nights during term-time.

Small groups

A series of small groups are starting in 2007 for members to meet and share a common interest. Groups underway already:

Walking group

Heading out to Makara March 25 for a range of walks. Contact John Craig

Theatre Visits 

Cynthia Himona and Robin Seymour are kicking this off with a trip to 'No name in the Street' and 'The Trial' at Drama Christie, 8 p.m. 29 March

Care and Craft:

A group which meets at the Terrace Centre on Monday mornings, with craft and design activities as well as fellowship.

Fireside:

A fellowship group that meets monthly on Wednesday nights at the Terrace Centre for discussions and activities.

Unicat:

The parish has a catering service for the wider community which provides meals for a variety of community functions.

Counselling Service:

The parish offers four counsellors under the auspices of the Johnsonville Terrace Centre Trust, from Monday to Friday at the Terrace Centre.
